Hi Everone,

Last week we had a visit from the Pattaya Plus TV crew who spent a few hours here with us and the cats, we are hopeful that this program will be aired by the end of this week.

It will be shown on Sophon, Banglamung and several other cable channels.

So please CHECK IT OUT .

We hope that this will generate a bit more interest and help us re-home some more of our lovely cats!

I will try to attach a link to this to the website when I can.

Many thanks to Les and Rod Mc Neal for there efforts.

Good Start To The Year!!

Hi everyone

We are pleased to be able to tell you that we have re-homed 4 of the little ones that we rescued from the shelter at Christmas, 'Ronnie & Reggie" went together and "Buster" went along with young "Willow" with only 3 paws ( who will suck my beard now?) .

Check out the "Re-homed Album" in "Photos"

We also had a visit from Jonathan and his colleague from the Bangkok lawyer firm.

Check out the album for the "Cat Food Bonanza " photos.

Thanks to everyone in the office who helped!!

We have had 2 articles printed over the last couple of weeks, one in the Pattaya Times and the other in "Pattaya One".

Today we've been to Pattaya Bay Radio, and Tommorrow we are taking a couple of the little ones to  the Pattaya City Expats Club to try and help generate some more interest and maybe find some more new homes.

We now have a "Donations" link on the website and have recieved our first 50 baht donation which will help us to help the cats.

Don't forget tell all your friends about us and forward the website address for us, here is the link:-

Thanks to everyone else who has helped us out in the last month or so.

Happy new year (more new kittens)

Posted by paul finnelly on January 6, 2011 at 12:04 AM Comments comments (0)

Hi everyone and happy new year from Sandra. myself and the cats.

Once again i must apologise for the late posting but as usual we have been very busy here.

We had to revisit the shelter in Sattahip last week to try to find a Siamese "Simon" who we have not seen since our last visit a couple of months ago, luckily he was still there and he now has a new home (see rehomed album)

We ended up bringing a lot more small kittens and sick cats home, there are so many more that need help there but we just can't do any more for the time being, we are full up with poorly cats.

However we have lots of lovely kittens and cats that are well and looking for new homes, so please tell your friends about us and help us try to find new homes for them.

We are thinking about a starting sponsorship scheme for the sick cats at the shelter but as yet have to finalise the details , as soon as i know more i will let you all know.

If someone would like to sponsor a sick cat we will collect it and take it to the hospital for it's care, when it has recovered we will then try to find it a new home as usual, your sponsorship money will help cover the cost of their vet's bills, in return all we can offer is regular updates on your chosen cats progress, hopefully when we have more room here we can care for them at home but we are just overloaded at the moment.

Thanks once again for all of your kind comments and please keep spreading the word about our lovely furry friends.

Paul and Sandra

I forgot to mention that we have been to 2 radio stations in the last few weeks so thanks to Archie B and Pottsy from Pattaya Bay Radio 103fm for their help and donation of food.

Check out their website for more pictures.

Also thanks to Barry Upton and the crew at 96fm for their help , I am having trouble loading the photo of Barry and 2 kittens but will keep trying.

Check out their website

I have also included a photo of Richard Burk from "Streetlife Restuarant and gallery" who we met at pattaya people radio.

He assures me there are no cats on his menu!

Late news

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry it's been so long since i've updated the news letter but as you can guess we have been very busy.

At one point we had 38 cats and kittens here at home, with over 20 on medication, some sadly have passed away, despite our best efforts, but the good news is that we have found new homes for quite a few kittens over the last few weeks and we are now down to  a more managable number of 24.

Sadly we have decided to stop visiting the shelter because the conditions there have deteriated badly, on our last two visits we brought home 10 sick cats and kittens, we also found one dead there and another one passed away just before we left several of our regulars were also missing.

We left 40 kilos of food for them and then sadly drove away leaving many of our friends behind, we both cried for them all and hope that someone will care for them as we tried to do.

More and more cats and kittens have been arriving at the shelter during the last few weeks.

We now have 27 at our home, I will post pictures of the latest 4 kittens to arrive shortly.

Please check out our articles in the pattaya daily news and pattaya one news , thanks to everyone concerned for them.

Please help us by telling everyone about our website and what we are doing.

We hve now re-homed 26 cats and kittens this year so far but we need many more new homes for the new arrivals.

"Toby" our ginger friend who has no eyes has been poorly this week with a bad bladder infection , however he is recovering well at the animal hospital, we hope to bring him home in the next few days.

Thanks to Margaret for giving "Kiki" a new home this week!!

Good news /bad news

The good news is that we re-homed 5 cats and kittens in July , the bad news is more and more cats are being dumped at the shelter, there must be over 50 there now and we have 24 here at the house .

So the message is thanks to all the people who have adopted cats from us so far but please pass out the word to your friends WE NEED MORE LOVING HOMES FOR THESE GUYS!

I have not been able to get photos of all the new cats yet but i will add a few more to the list asap.

Chack out the pictures of Muffin and her babies, they are arund 3 weeks old now so will be ready for re-homing at the end of august.

So there must be around 60 cats and kittens there now plus the 18 that we have here .

We need your help more than ever.

We also have 3 more lovely kittens here, making 8 little ones all looking for homes.

                                         WE NEED NEW HOMES URGENTLY

More new arrivals this weeks (check out the photos).

2 lovely ginger 5 week old kittens "topsy & Turvy are brother and sister.

Danny was found with an injury to his paw we tried to save it but after a few days it was obvious that it was too severely damaged and in the end we had to have his leg removed, we were so sad  as he is such a lovely boy.

But he came out of surgery and was walking again within only a few hours, we were amazed.

Before we could post his picture on the website he was given a new home (see below)

Good news this week , we have found new homes for 2 more cats "Danny& Junior" .

They have gone to a lovely Dutch couple, WIlma and Deth, they also like "cheeky" but he has a cold at the moment.

He is in the vets and we hope, when he is well again they will take him as well.

Thanks to them both.

Sarah & Seb who a few weeks ago took 2 cats from us "Dotty & Sammy" contacted us this week to say they are doing well, thanks to them as well.
